Myriostigma Kikko

Astrophytum myriostigma was discovered in the mountainous region of central Mexico, its natural habitat occurs from 1,500-8,300 feet in elevation, in rocky or stony soil. It is a compact columnar plant with woolly areoles and in summer, a large yellow flower will form. 

Kikko is a Japanese cultivar referring to the selective breeding causing pointed tubercles.
