Astrophytum ornatum ‘Kikko’ — The Armored Cathedral of Light

The Astrophytum ornatum ‘Kikko’ is a spectacular mutation of the Astrophytum ornatum species, revered for its bold, angular ribs and deeply sculpted tubercles that form an almost crystalline lattice around the plant’s body.  Each specimen looks as though it were hand-carved from desert stone, reflecting light across its faceted surface like a living jewel.
