"Fukuryu" is a Japanese word that means presence of additional ribs. This plant will develop protuberances (such as beginnings of ribs) or small extra ribs (more or less prominent)

"Super Kabuto" is a Japanese cultivar and is distinguished by the size and shape of the flecking. A. asterias has very, small, fine flecks, nearly imperceptible to the touch. In comparison, the superkabuto will have very large, raised, velvety flecks.
